KABIR AHUJA
Kabir Ahuja is a Partner at the consulting firm McKinsey & Company, focusing on the Media and Technology sectors. He has started up and managed two companies, including an internet video application company and an E-commerce retailer. He has a passion for education, especially in STEM, and has previously served on the advisory board for a high performing public high school technical academy. Kabir received a B.S. from Columbia University in 2003 in Computer Science and an MBA from Columbia Business School in 2008.
JAKE ELGHANAYAN
Jake Elghanayan is a principal of TF Cornerstone, a New York City-based real estate development firm. Previously, Jake practiced law as an associate at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP. He received his B.A. from Brown University in 2006 and a joint M.A.-J.D. from Johns Hopkins University School for Advanced International Study and NYU School of Law in 2012. Jake also serves as a trustee of South Bronx Classical Charter School, Daniel’s Music Foundation, and the Citizens Budget Commission.
JAMES ELLSWORTH
James Ellsworth manages AIG Global Real Estate’s real estate funds business. Prior to AIG, James served as a portfolio manager for Trust Company for the West (TCW) where he managed emerging markets real estate funds. He also worked in the New York office of Merrill Lynch’s Mergers and Acquisitions Group and was a Senior Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions and cross-boarder transactions. James has extensive experience in underwriting, structuring, and negotiating international real estate transactions. James received his bachelors and master’s degree from Brigham Young University and a MBA from Harvard University. He currently serves on the Policy Advisory Board of UC Berkeley Fisher Center for Real Estate and Urban Economics.
MARION C. LEYDIER
Marion C. Leydier is a partner at the law firm Sullivan & Cromwell LLP. Marion received an MBA from ESSEC in Paris in 1997, a Maitrise from the Sorbonne in 2000, a DEA from the Sorbonne in 2001 and a J.D. from Columbia University School of Law in 2001.
SAL SIDDIQUI
Sal Siddiqui is a Senior Director at FTI Consulting, a global event-driven strategic consulting firm, where he specializes in the petroleum and chemicals industries. He is also is a co-founder and principal of Philly Capital Group, a growing real estate investment firm with holdings throughout the Northeast. Mr. Siddiqui’s roots at Unity Prep reach back to 2013. Previously, he served as the Associate Board president and helped establish Unity Prep’s volunteer-based Saturday Academy tutoring program, along with several on-going annual fundraising affairs. Mr. Siddiqui graduated from the University of Delaware where he received a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering. He subsequently received his M.B.A. in Finance and Management with a concentration in Entrepreneurship from Fordham’s Gabelli School of Business.
JEANNETTE BANDER
Jeannette Bander is an associate at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP. She received her B.S. from Lehigh University in 2008 and a J.D. from Case Western Reserve University in 2011.
