Spectator Policy

Unity Prep is committed to creating a safe, positive environment for all athletic events. The following policies ensure the safety of our students, staff, and visitors.

MIDDLE SCHOOL SPECTATOR POLICY

The following policy is in effect for Unity Middle School’s home basketball games:

  • Identification Required: All spectators must now present identification and sign in before they enter the gym. Those without identification will not be admitted.
  • Unity Students: All Unity students attending a sports event must be accompanied by an adult in order to attend Home Games. The adult can be a parent or a Unity staff member.
  • Outside Spectators: Any spectator who does not attend Unity Prep and is under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

 

HIGH SCHOOL SPECTATOR POLICY

The following policy is in effect for Unity High School’s home games:

  • Visiting Teams:
    • Teams may enter the gym after 3:45 PM. Student athletes will not be admitted without a coach present.
    • All coaches, student athletes, and managers must adhere to security instructions.
    • Each team may have a maximum of 2 coaches and 2 managers.
    • Coaches must remove their teams promptly after the game.
    • Anyone engaging in unsafe or unsportsmanlike behavior will be escorted out.
    • Teams may use the visitor locker room to change and store belongings; it will be locked during games. Teams are responsible for cleaning their space before leaving.
    • NOTE: The building will be monitored by surveillance cameras.
  • Outside Spectators: No outside spectators are permitted. This includes parents, family members, friends, and opposing team student bodies.
