Student Life at Unity
Unity Middle School in Bedford-Stuyvesant serves students in grades 6–8 to discover their potential through a rigorous academic program, rich arts and athletics, and Regents-level credit opportunities. We nurture curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning that prepares every student to thrive in high school and beyond.
Unity High School in Williamsburg empowers students in grades 9–12 to excel through AP for All courses, diverse electives, and a strong college-prep curriculum. With a guaranteed seat for Unity middle schoolers, students step into high school ready to lead, achieve, and shape their future.
Unity Middle School students are prepared for the rigors of high school coursework. Eligible students are able to earn high school credits by taking Regents courses in 8th grade.
Unity students earn college credits by taking AP courses and free college courses. Since it’s founding, 100% of Unity graduates were accepted to college.
Alumni Success ProgramAthletics are integral to the Unity experience. Unity offers 14 sports, with 22 teams and 3 team levels: Intermediate, Junior Varsity and Varsity.
Athletics at UnityUnity offers courses in Dance, Theater, Pre-AP Visual Art, Digital Art, AP-2D Art and Design. Student performances and gallery showcases are held throughout the year.
Arts at UnityUnity students are able to enroll in enrichment clubs such as the Culinary Club, Student Government, Speech & Debate, and Rock Climbing Club.
Enrichment ClubsUnity is committed to empowering students to give back through meaningful service. Students can participate in the Junior National Honor Society and National Honor Society, as well as take part in service events throughout the year.
Community Service
