The Unity Scoop – June 19

Dear Families of Unity,

It has been a festive week, marked by end-of-year Regents exams, our middle school graduation, and New York City’s celebration of the Knicks’ NBA Championship victory!

Congratulations to our students for their hard work and perseverance during Regents season, to our graduates as they reach this important milestone, and to Knicks fans everywhere as the city comes together to celebrate an unforgettable championship run!

In the coming week, Unity High students will complete Regents exams and celebrate the 12th grade graduation of our Class of 2026 on Friday morning at St. Francis College in downtown Brooklyn.

In this edition of The Unity Scoop, we’re excited to share a collection of photos from our 8th grade graduation celebration, along with additional highlights from this year’s Roundtable presentations. We also provide updates on services and resources available to families this summer, and other relevant updates from last week’s edition.

I hope you enjoy a meaningful and joyful Juneteenth with family, friends, and loved ones.

And well wishes to the fathers in our community – Happy Father’s Day!

In unity,
Josh
