The Unity Scoop – June 22
Dear Families of Unity,
I hope you enjoyed a festive and meaningful Juneteenth with loved ones!
I want to begin by extending a hearty congratulations to our 8th grade graduates. Tuesday’s ceremony and festivities were heartfelt, and it was delightful to see our students deliver gracious and uplifting speeches while celebrating this milestone alongside teachers, staff, families, and peers.
In addition, I would also like to congratulate our high school students who are completing their Regents exams this week. As a community, we have devoted immense time and effort to preparing for these exams. We are excited to celebrate the fruits of our labor as students demonstrate their learning from this year.
In the coming week, we will complete Regents exams and celebrate the graduation of our Class of 2025 on Thursday morning. Our entire grades 6–12 community is invited to attend the graduation ceremony. Please RSVP to join in the celebration here!
In this edition of The Unity Scoop, we bring to you an abundance of 8th grade graduation photos. We also provide updates on services and resources available to families this summer, and other relevant updates from last week’s edition.
Well wishes on the summer solstice – the longest day of the year. Enjoy the start of summer this weekend!
In unity,
Josh
