The Unity Scoop – June 6

Dear Families of Unity,

Congratulations to our middle school students, team, and families on completing the final full day of regular classes today! This marks a major milestone in our students’ educational journeys and is a noteworthy accomplishment for our teachers, staff, and families. Congratulations to all!

In addition, congratulations to our Unity student-athletes who celebrated their accomplishments this week. Shout-out to Mr. Coleman and Mr. Egharevba for organizing such meaningful events!

We also applaud our theatre and dance students for their performances this past week. Kudos to Mr. Mokoena and Ms. McRae for bringing these enriching experiences to life for our students and broader community!

Looking ahead, our high school students will wrap up their final week of regular classes and begin their Regents exams. We are incredibly proud of our students’ hard work and perseverance throughout the year. We encourage them to stay focused, give their best effort, and take pride in all they’ve accomplished. You’ve got this—we believe in you!

At the middle school, we are excited for students to engage in their Roundtable presentations. We’ll also host an awards ceremony on Thursday to celebrate student achievements from the spring semester.

In this edition of The Unity Scoop, we bring to you some highlights from this past week’s festivities, including our athletic awards ceremonies.  We also honor our May Students of the Month!

In unity,
Josh
